South Lake Union
has seen the most changes than anywhere else over the past few years,
and it looks like it will be continuing that direction for quite a
while. Anchored to the North by Lake Union, the new Lake Union Park has
already grown to be a hot spot in Seattle. With several great
restaurants overlooking the lake, there are many great spots for dinner
and happy hour year round. Until recent years South Lake Union was
becoming more aged with every year, but recent development is putting
it as one of the top spots on the map. New luxury condominiums, grocery
stores, offices spaces, and modern restaurants have been popping up in
place of run down warehouses and parking lots. The proposed
reconstruction of South Lake Union will take past 2020, but the final
result will be one of the most desirable spots in Seattle. |
