Ravenna is
community that embodies most of what people think about living in
Seattle. Just north of the University of Washington and a few blocks
from University Village, Ravenna is a community where people take pride
in their homes. The homes mainly consist of Northwest Bungalows.
The meandering tree-lined boulevard at the south end of the community
is one of the iconic streets in Seattle. The community is divided by
Ravenna Park and Cowen Park which have newly been redone with a new
baseball field playgrounds and walking paths along the stream. During
the winter Park Road turns into a winter wonderland with Candy Cane
Lane. It is a top spot to visit in during the holiday season for
Seattleites with displays of lights and even a display carousel. The
main commercial street along 65th has several delicious small
restaurants and several other local businesses. With a strong
community, historic homes, and easy access to Seattle, Ravenna has been
a very desirable choice among Seattle. |
