Laurelhurst is considered by many as one of the most desirable neighborhood in Seattle; especially in the summer. With many homes on the water and many others with spectacular views of Lake Washington and Mount Rainier, Laurelhurst has been home to the Seattle wealthy for over a hundred years. Incredible, luxurious homes line the curving streets throughout the neighborhood. With steep slopes on the Eastern portion of Laurelhurst many homes show off their true beauty to the water, where a boat ride along the shore will show just how amazing many of the homes are.

The Laurelhurst
community also offers some of the best features of any in the area.
Laurelhurst Park is open for all sorts of sports activities and the
community center offers programs, events, and actually a city landmark
as well. Along with several small, public beaches in the neighborhood,
Laurelhurst also has a private Laurelhurst Beach Club. The Beach Club
has a minimal fee and is one of the most favorite among the community
in the summer. University Village restaurants and shopping are in many
cases less than a minute away and other excellent restaurants are still
even closer. Nearly bordering the UW campus, Laurelhurst is also a
great entertaining place before football games and crew races. Overall,
a very elite neighborhood with just about everything just a few blocks
from your doorstep. |
